Registered Apprenticeship Program (RAP) + Career Technology Studies (CTS) Apprenticeship Pathway

Those attending Alberta high schools who looking to get a heads start in their skilled trade apprenticeships have a few options courtesy of the RAP and CTS apprenticeship pathway programs through Tradesecrets.

Registered Apprenticeship Program (RAP):

Participants can earn dual credits – toward their high school diploma and the towards their journeyperson certification, all at the same time.

The RAP program is open to Alberta senior high school students aged 15 years and older with informed consent of a parent or legal guardian. 

Career Technology Studies (CTS) Apprenticeship Pathway:

Participants can earn high school credits towards their journeyperson certificate.

With over 20 approved CTS options, there is something for everyone.
